Local teachers can apply for SRP education grants

Salt River Project is offering grants for teachers looking for ways to engage with their students. SRP encourages teachers to apply for classroom grants in the areas of math, science, engineering, technology and social studies.
SRP offers Learning Grants up to $5,000 per school for projects that incorporate innovative teaching strategies in math and science and meet performance standards related to Arizona Academic Standards.
History and Social Studies Grants by SRP support the enrichment of classroom instruction in disciplines of history, geography, civics, government and economics. Up to $2,500 is available in grant money per educator.
SRP will accept applications for 2023-24 grants until Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2023. These grants are open to all educators at public and non-profit private schools. More information can be found at srp.net/grants.
