Baptist VBS heads to wilderness

The theme of Vacation Bible School at First Baptist Church will be “In the Wild.”

The “wilderness adventure” will take place from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday, June 9, through Thursday, June 13. The program is free.

Participants will discover that Jesus Christ is the Messiah, the Son of God, by making crafts, playing games, enjoying tasty snacks, singing and learning about missions.

Children will get “up close and personal” with bears and tigers, elephants and penguins, cockatoos, crocodiles and more animals.

Classes will be held at the church, 10215 N. Saguaro Blvd.
