Fountain Hills Activity Center and the Technology Learning Center are teaming up for Tech Tips and Tricks special programs at the Community Center.

On Wednesday, Jan. 30, bring in Android devices between 10 and 11:30 a.m. for advice and help.

Drop by with Apple devices between 1 and 2:30 p.m.

On Wednesday, March 27, Android owners can bring in devices between 10 and 11:30 a.m.

Between 1 and 2:30 p.m. Apple devices will be the focus for tips and tricks.

Most people underestimate the capability of smart phone cameras. Handy tips will help people take photos that easily capture the essence of the moment.

Volunteer instructors will review the menus and settings for special features, practice how to zoom in and out, take advantage of face detection, and take movies, panoramic photos and the ever-popular “selfie.”

The Technology Learning Center is made up of all volunteers who offer technology workshops for Fountain Hills residents.

Pre-registration is required for each session. Presentation is free for Activity Center members with a $5 fee for non-members.
