The Town of Fountain Hills Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a Youth Summer Camp for kids during the week of July 15-19.
Campers, ages six through 12, need to have completed kindergarten so they are able to adjust to the routine of a full-day, organized and scheduled camp learning atmosphere.
This camp will primarily be held at the Fountain Hills Middle School gymnasium from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Camp activities will include daily teambuilding and self-development exercises, crafts, sports and active games.
Field trips include visits to McDowell Mountain Aquatic Center, a Phoenix Mercury game, the fire department, MCSO and Main Event. Parents will be required to sign the field trip permission slips in order for their child to attend.
A detailed schedule of activities will be made available upon registration. Parents are required to review and sign the camp parent guide and field trip permission form prior to their child attending their first day of camp. Space is limited to the first 13 kids signed up.
Register for Course #4138. The cost is $150.
Pre-registration is required. Register online at fh.az.gov/recreation or in person at Town Hall or at the Community Center.
