MCSO investigating another Fountain Hills homicide

Posted

Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the third homicide incident in Fountain Hills since June 1, with this being the fourth victim.

Initial reports from the Sheriff’s Office indicated this was an isolated domestic violence incident at a Fountain Hills hotel. MCSO reported that just before midnight deputies received a 911 call of a shooting at the Centerstone Plaza Hotel on Saguaro Blvd. Fire personnel arrived and the subject was pronounced deceased at the scene. Sheriff’s deputies were able to stabilize the scene and detain everyone involved.

There are no suspects outstanding and this incident is being investigated as a domestic violence homicide by MCSO detectives.

Hotel General Manager Gary Lvov said he was called back to the hotel just after midnight for an “incident.”

Lvov said he did not know what happened, but said he recalls checking in the people he believes were involved earlier in the evening. He said they seemed to be a really nice family and this is not what one would expect.
