Maricopa County Sheriff’s detectives were still on the scene Friday morning investigating a shooting late Thursday outside Burno’s Sports Bar on Parkview Ave. in Fountain Hills.
MCSO reports that two men got into physical altercation inside the bar and were outside when one of the men took out a handgun and fired several shots with at least one shot striking the second man.
The victim was given CPR by bystanders until firefighters arrived. The man was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries. The suspect was taken into custody.
MCSO has not released any identification, or updated the victim’s condition as of Friday morning.
