Fountain Hills firefighters needed to extricate the driver from a vehicle that rolled over on Palisades Boulevard near Sunflower Drive early Friday afternoon, Sept. 6.

The driver was taken by ground ambulance to a Scottsdale trauma center with his condition unspecified.

The driver was the only patient and is a male in his early 60s, according to fire officials.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office had northbound Palisades closed while investigating the cause of the crash.
