The Area Agency on Aging is looking for Fountain Hills residents to join its volunteer Caring Circles program.

The agency is looking for positive, energetic individuals to build circles of care around older adults in need.

Caring Circles is an Area Agency on Aging program in partnership with AmeriCorps that encourages the health, safety and well-being of older adults who need some help to remain in their homes.

Volunteers provide critical support by visiting people in their homes, making friendly phone calls, providing transportation to medical appointments or social gatherings, assisting with grocery shopping or household tasks, provide minor home maintenance and help with special projects.

Anyone interested in volunteering may visit the agency website at aaaphx.org or call 602-264-4357 to complete an application.
