Toll Brothers Arizona won a Silver Award in The Nationals 2019, the National Home Builders competition, for its Rio Verde home design at the Verde River project.

The Rio Verde was a Silver finalist for Best Outdoor Living Space. CDC Design, based in Costa Mesa, Calif., and Creative Environments created the design.

Toll Brothers at Verde River is a neighborhood of 35 homes on 20,000-square-foot home sites within Trilogy at Verde River.

The design maximizes the scenic environment with al fresco living spaces.

The Best of Outdoor Living Space was judged on concept, creativity and impact of furniture and accessories.

Toll Brothers also won two other Silver Awards for The Pradera at Toll Brothers at Whitewing in Gilbert.

One of those awards was for best landscape design created by Creative Environments in Tempe.

The second Silver Award finalist was for Best Interior Merchandising of a model priced from $850,000 to $1 million. The Pradera is a farmhouse-style, a modern take on rustic country living.

Gold Award winners will be announced Feb. 19 in Las Vegas in conjunction with the International Builders Show.

Toll Brothers area model homes are open from noon to 5:30 p.m., Mondays; 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Tuesdays through Sundays.
