After a makeover of Sapori D’Italia in 2012, “Restaurant Impossible” host Robert Irvine and his video crew returned to the restaurant June 19 to film another show.
About 300 attended one of three sittings at the restaurant owned by Gasper and Maria Manno.
Season 14 of “Restaurant Impossible” will tell the story of the restaurant’s restoration and success.
Of 140 restaurants rescued on the show, 100 eventually closed. Thirty-seven still remain open with the original owners.
Individuals attending the taping said Irvine was cordial in posing for photographs and talking to dinner guests.
