Eric Williamson, a Fountain Hills-based comic creator, writer and poet, has launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund the production and distribution of his latest project, PRISMATIC, a kaleidoscopic sci-fi comic anthology that celebrates love, diversity and the resilience of the human spirit.

PRISMATIC is a 36-page anthology featuring four mind-bending science fiction tales woven together by the themes of love and tenacious bonds persevering against existential threats, a press release said.

The book showcases the work of four talented artists: Austin Ackert, Damon Begay, Jose Guillen and Anna Mocek, each bringing their unique style and perspective to the project, highlighting the importance of diversity in storytelling.

“PRISMATIC is a testament to the power of love and the resilience of the human spirit,” says Williamson. “By supporting this project, our community is not only helping to bring a unique creative vision to life but also fostering the growth of local talent and contributing to the vibrant arts scene in Fountain Hills.”

Supporting the PRISMATIC Kickstarter campaign is an opportunity for the Fountain Hills community to come together and celebrate the creativity and diversity that makes the town special.

By backing this project, residents can take pride knowing they are helping to nurture homegrown talent and bringing joy and inspiration to the community.

The Kickstarter campaign offers a range of rewards for backers, including digital and physical copies of the anthology, signed editions, exclusive art prints and even original artwork from the featured artists, giving locals the chance to be a part of this one-of-a-kind anthology and support the local creative community.

The campaign runs from now through July 4, 2024.
