Posted
“James and the Giant Peach” is on stage now at Fountain Hills Youth Theater.
The Roald Dahl tale comes hilariously to life in the Fountain Hills Youth Theater’s production.
The show continues through April 14. Shows are at 7 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and at 2 p.m. Sundays.
The adventure of James Henry Trotter will fulfill the fantasy of anyone who has ever dreamed of escape. The dramatization reveals the wickedness of some, the goodness of others and the indecision encountered by many when they are faced with crises.
“James and the Giant Peach” is this season’s YABOY (Young Actors Benefiting Other Youth) production. YABOY productions attempt not only to point out problems facing youth but also offers examples and solutions young people can follow to make a difference in their lives. This year, the theater has partnered with Sunshine Acres.
