Auditions for the adult comedy, “My First Time,” are scheduled for Saturday, Jun 15, and Tuesday, June 18.

The show will play at Fountain Hills Theater Aug. 16 through Sept. 1.

In 1998, a decade before blogging began, a website was created allowing people to anonymously share their own true stories about their “first times.” The website became an instant phenomenon with more than 40,000 stories submitted from around the globe – sweet, silly, absurd, funny, heterosexual, homosexual, shy, sexy and everything in between. Now those true stories and unique characters are brought to life in the hysterical, touching and heartbreaking play by Ken Davenport.

Auditioners are asked to provide a 1 to 2 minute comedy monologue and be prepared to read cold from the script. The script contains adult material and occasionally has graphic dialogue.

Casting is for two men, any age or ethnicity, and two women, any age or ethnicity. Tryouts are at 4 p.m. Saturday, June 15, and at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 18. Callbacks, if needed, will be Wednesday, June 19, at 7 p.m.

To schedule an appointment, visit fhtaz.org/auditions, or call 480-837-9661, ext. 3.
