Ring in the holidays with Jazz in the Hills

Ring in the holidays with a jazzy theme.

A Holiday Fundraiser Dinner Party is set for Friday, Dec. 2, to benefit Jazz in the Hills.

The event will be held at Sofrita’s Santeria Room starting at 6 p.m. Dinner will be served from 6 to 7 p.m., and music will be from 7 to 9 p.m.

Dinner will be presented buffet-style and features some of the most popular items at Sofrita, including entrees, salads and desserts. General admission is $35, members’ tickets are $30, and children’s tickets are $15.

Prices include dinner, soft drinks, dessert and entertainment. A cash bar also is available. Make reservations online at jazzinthehills.org.

The Nicole Pesce Quartet will provide entertainment. The quartet includes Pesce on keyboards, Vocalist Renee Patrick, Bob Lashier on bass and Dowell Davis on drums.

The event will benefit jazz education in local schools.
