The 2019 season of Munch and Music opens with a performance by the internationally recognized Un Corazon Flamenco team.
Series Producer Allen Fossenkemper said the duo, featuring Linda Machado and Ricardo de Cristobál, recently appeared on the Dance Network’s “Flamenco Unfolded.” The show is set for noon Friday, Jan. 25.
“As both artists and educators, Un Corazon has developed a unique, interactive, entertaining and educational program allowing the audience to see, hear and learn about the beautiful art of Flamenco,” Fossenkemper said.
Un Corazon has appeared in numerous programs including those presented by Arizona Highways, Good Morning, Arizona, PBS and others.
The opening of the 2019 series of Munch and Music Concerts starts at noon. The Fountain Hills tradition is free to the public and is held in the Grand Ballroom at the Community Center, 13001 N. LaMontana Drive.
Other concerts in the series include nationally-known Dave Karl (Feb. 1 at noon); Fountain Hills Saxophone Quartet (Feb. 8 at noon); and the ‘60s tribute band, The Moonlighters will close out the season (Feb. 15 at noon).
