'Crazy Fingers' returns to SOTH
Posted
Shepherd of the Hills (SOTH) Charitable Foundation will present a fun evening Friday, Jan. 12, bringing back for the fourth year pianist-comedian Gordy “Crazy Fingers” Lindquist.
Lindquist, sometimes called North Dakota’s version of the famous Victor Borge, has performed all over the world with many well-known personalities, such as Myron Floren, Bob Hope and Red Skelton. His show, called “Tickling the Ivory,” provides entertainment for all ages.
Tickets are free and available at the SOTH church office or at the door. The Foundation is asking for a free-will donation after the show. Raffle prizes will be awarded to some lucky ticket holders.
The performance begins at 7:30 pm at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church on the corner of Fountain Hills and El Lago boulevards.
Refreshments will be served after the show, where audience members can meet and greet Lindquist.
All proceeds from the show go to the foundation, which provides financial support to many local charities. This past year the foundation also awarded five $1,500 college scholarships to deserving high school graduates attending college in the fall.
