The holiday season will be underway when the Fountain Hills Community Band entertains Sunday, Dec. 16.

Under the baton of Music Director Alan D. Roselieb, the family-fun program begins at 4 p.m. at the Community Center.

Residents and visitors are invited to enjoy great holiday music including music from Tchaikovsky’s “Nutcracker Suite,” and an entertaining narration by announcer Bruce Porter as he leads the audience through Peter’s adventures in Prokofiev’s colorful “Peter and the Wolf.” Traditional band music by Gustav Holst and a big-band tribute to Glenn Miller also will be featured.

The concert is free and open to the public.
