Friends and neighbors, I am taking time to write this endorsement for Cecil Yates for Town Council.

I’ve personally known Cecil for five years. He moved to Fountain Hills several years ago from Cleveland, Ohio, where he was a multiple property owner and developer. He and his wife Nancy (a R.N.) and their two children have been major assets to the community since their arrival.

Cecil immediately became active in community affairs, including being voted secretary of his HOA, a member of my SPAC Committee on community revenues and currently vice chairman of the Planning and Zoning Commission.

He is young, enthusiastic, loves the community and is doing everything he can to make this a better place for all of us. Cecil spends a great deal of his time promoting Fountain Hills. He was involved in getting the new ADOT   signage on the surrounding highways and Shea Blvd. directing people to Fountain Hills.

He finds time to do all of these things while keeping his development business going during a tough economic period. Cecil is the fresh face we need on the council. I urge you to vote for Cecil.
