Pay up or move

With gas prices continuing to escalate, food costs on the rise and Democratic contenders promising increased federal taxes, this is no time to be adding another unregulated level of taxation.

The town is awash in money; there is no rush to reach a decision. The council has already demonstrated their proclivity for frivolous expenditures. Having primary property tax revenue at their disposal will be temptation beyond resistance.

Remember, once a property tax is in place, you will have two options: pay up or move out.
