Water line repairs complete in Fountain Hills

Two breaks crop up early Sept. 29

Rocky terrain and high water pressure seem to be a recipe for water main breaks in Fountain Hills. They also seem to come in spurts as three breaks along main thoroughfares over the past month – two reported on the same morning, Sept. 29.

A break that threatened to create a traffic nightmare on Shea Boulevard on Sept. 9 was quickly addressed by EPCOR Water and contractors and the line and pavement were repaired by noon the next day.

The other incidents, one on Sunridge Drive and a second on Palisades Boulevard, took longer, but were on track for complete resolution by end of the week, as of this writing.
