Fountain Hills: Sheriff's call log

Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 substation based in Fountain Hills is reporting that deputies responded to the following calls during the week from Thursday, Feb. 15, through Wednesday, Feb. 21.

Thursday, Feb. 15

*A resident of the 16000 block of Avenue of the Fountains reported a violation of a court order.

*Deputies responded to a business in the 16000 block of Shea Boulevard where it was reported that an unknown subject shoplifted items from a business.

*A resident of the 14000 block of Edgeworth Drive reported that an unknown subject damaged property at a residence resulting in approximately $1,300 in damages.

*Deputies responded to the 13000 block of Fountain Hills Boulevard where a private property collision was reported in a parking lot after a vehicle backed into another while leaving a parking space.

Friday, Feb. 16

*Deputies responded to Fountain Hills Boulevard and Sullivan Drive for a reported traffic collision. A subsequent DUI investigation was initiated by deputies on scene resulting in the driver being cited and released for multiple DUI offenses.

*A resident of the 16000 block of Ashbrook Drive reported that an unknown subject accessed their credit card account and made unauthorized charges.

*Deputies responded to the 13000 block of Fountain Hills Boulevard where it was reported that an unknown subject damaged the keypad of an ATM.

Saturday, Feb. 17

*Deputies responded to Sunridge and Sundown drives where a three-vehicle rear end traffic collision was reported. No injuries were reported, one vehicle was towed from the scene.

*A resident of the 17000 block of Dull Knife Drive reported residential burglary.

Sunday, Feb. 18

Deputies responded to El Lago Boulevard and La Montana Drive for a reported non-injury traffic collision after a vehicle sideswiped a vehicle while it was slowing to turn into a driveway. No injuries were reported; no vehicles were towed from the scene.

*Deputies responded to the 13000 block of Fountain Hills Boulevard where a subject was trespassed from a business.

*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Shea Boulevard where it was reported that a subject was disorderly at a business. The subject was issued a criminal citation and released.

*Deputies responded to the 12000 block of Saguaro Boulevard where it was reported that an unknown subject took items from the victim’s locker located in a business.

Monday, Feb. 19

*Deputies responded along with the Fountain Hills Fire Department to the 16000 block of Avenue of the Fountains. A fire was reported on the balcony of a residence. The fire caused minor damage and was extinguished by the fire department.

Tuesday, Feb. 20

*Deputies responded to Shea Boulevard and Center Lane where a non-injury traffic collision was reported. A vehicle was struck while attempting to make a left turn. No injuries were reported; no vehicles were towed from the scene.

*Deputies responded to the 15000 block of Palomino Boulevard for a reported domestic violence fight.

Wednesday, Feb. 21

*Deputies responded to Shea Boulevard and Eagle Mountain Parkway. A rear end traffic collision was reported. No injuries were reported, and a vehicle was towed from the scene.

*Deputies responded to Grande and Saguaro boulevards where a rear end traffic collision was reported. No injuries were reported; no vehicles were towed from the scene.

*Deputies made a traffic stop on Shea Boulevard at Arista Lane where a motorist was stopped for criminal speed traveling 76 miles per hour where the speed limit is 50. The driver was issued a criminal citation and released.

*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Palisades Boulevard where an assault was reported. The suspect was booked into jail.

*A resident of the 16000 block of El Lago Boulevard reported a domestic violence assault.
