I am a native Phoenician, currently residing in Peoria, and have lived in Peoria for 48 of my 51 years. The growth we’ve seen in just the past 5–10 years is staggering, and my greatest concern has always been our water supply.
I do not have much confidence in the people or departments currently overseeing this issue to ensure that disaster is prevented. Too often, money and politics outweigh sound, humanitarian decision-making.
