RWOTH meets March 14 in Fountain Hills

The Republican Women of The Hills will host ASU history professor Dr. Brooks Simpson to discuss the women’s suffrage movement and the right to vote.

The Republican Women of The Hills (RWOTH) meets Thursday, March 14.
The featured speaker is ASU professor of history, Dr. Brooks Simpson.
Since March is Women’s History Month, Simpson will provide information on the women’s suffrage movement and the right to vote, according to a press release written by Crystal Cavanaugh, spokesperson for RWOTH.
Simpson is also the author of several books and specializes in American political and military history, Cavanaugh said.
Additional speakers include Yvonne Cahill of AZ Legislative District 3, member-at-large at the Republican Party of Arizona and Pat Aguilina, Arizona state director for the Donald Trump 2024 Presidential Campaign.
New meeting time
The Republican Women of The Hills meets every second Thursday of each month.
The new meeting time is now 4 to 5:30 p.m. so attendees are asked to adjust their calendars.
The meetings are held at Christ Church in the Multipurpose Room, 15555 E. Bainbridge Ave.
Both men and women are invited to be members of the Republican Women of The Hills, Cavanaugh said.
Yearly membership is $25 but non-members are also welcome with a $5 contribution per meeting. Attendees are asked to sign in at the door.
