JoAnn Gerardo from Beauty and Heart with Jo will speak at the Feb. 8 Republican Women of the Hills (RWOTH) meeting.
RWOTH meets every second Thursday of each month.
The Feb. 8 meeting will cover updates for state and local issues along with the Gerardo’s featured presentation.
The topic of her presentation is “Taking Charge of Your Heart Health,” where attendees will receive goodie bags relating to heart health.
“We encourage all to wear red to support healthy heart awareness,” said RWOTH Spokesperson Crystal Cavanaugh.
Gerardo will soon travel to Washington, D.C., prior to the meeting to present to Congress on heart health.
Club updates
As of Feb. 8, RWOTH meetings will be held in Christ Church’s Multipurpose Room at 15555 E. Bainbridge Ave. In addition to the new location, RWOTH’s new meeting time is 4:30 to 6 p.m.
Both men and women are invited to attend Republican Women of the Hills, Cavanaugh said. Yearly membership is $25, but guests are welcome with a $5 contribution per meeting, Cavanaugh added.
“We met many new faces at the recent Expo held at the Fountain Hills Community Center and we hope to see you on February 8,” said Cavanaugh.
