What if our youngest Americans need more of our time, attention and love every day to become productive adults? What if there are specific strategies parents can use to promote healthy development during their children’s early years? What if there really is a way to create happy, adjusted and confident adults? Imagine that simple educational input, high-quality language enrichment and guidance are all important to start early. How about that their impact keeps growing from within forever!
Modern lifestyles are truly making it difficult for most of our little ones to get the kind of well-rounded foundation they need to flourish. Our “time, attention and love” for children that comes naturally has been greatly hindered by the pressures of modern life. Stress wreaks havoc on everyone’s ability to live these concepts as they were meant to be.
This last “shock” of violence came from a shooter who grew up in today’s times. People develop gradually to become who they are. They do not become that way overnight. The time has come to let early childhood opportunities reign. Every person, starting at birth, should have positive mental and physical health along with high self-esteem, and every parent should know how to instill these.
Mass shootings were once shocking, but now they are commonplace. Targeted shooting is “off the charts” terrible and has been added to the list. What if all it takes to wipe out these horrors is special care for little ones in their early years? What if new parents can learn how to provide that care? What if we can teach parents to be pros at what they do? We can and should, and we need to do that right away. The stakes are too high. Every minute counts!
