The Fountain Hills Women’s Club continues to celebrate its 50th anniversary year.
In March, members went to the Arizona State Capitol where they received recognition for their accomplishments, and Senator John Kavanagh presented them with a legislative proclamation honoring the club and its accomplishments.
The March 20 luncheon will feature Dr. Tasneed Manish Shah, who will discuss a woman’s journey toward bone health.
Shah is a board-certified internal medicine physician and professor of medicine at the University of Arizona.
Doors open at 11:30 a.m. To make a reservation, contact Carol Goyena at carolgoyena@gmail.com by Friday, March 15. The cost is $25 for lunch.
Scholarship applications for the annual club awards for women who plan to extend their education are available on the FHWC website at fountainhillswomensclub.com.
Applications must be returned by Friday, April 12.
