Fountain Hills Theater award-winning Actor Alex Gonzalez brings his celebration of classic Las Vegas back to the Fountain Hills Theater stage.

The Saturday, March 16, evening show sold out, so the theater has added a matinee performance Sunday, March 17, with a reception at 1 p.m. followed by the show at 2 p.m.

In support of Fountain Hills Theater, Gonzalez and his special guests will bring to life the days of highballs and high rollers, Elvis and Frank and everything that made Vegas Vegas, an FHT press release said.

The production will include classic hits like, “Can’t Help Falling in Love;” “Now and Forever;” and Elvis’ “Viva Las Vegas.”

Gonzalez has most recently been seen onstage at Fountain Hills Theater in “Ghost the Musical,” “Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story,” “Lend Me A Tenor” and “Grand Hotel.”

Long-time FHT patrons will remember him from “South Pacific,” “Fiddler on the Roof,” “The Full Monty” and “Oklahoma.”

“I have been performing in the Valley for over 40 years with many local theater companies, but Fountain Hills Theater has been not just another theater company where I’ve performed,” Gonzalez said. “It has been more like a home to me, having been in over 50 productions, starting with ‘The Music Man’ in 1991.”

Individual tickets are $50 and are available through the Theater Box Office at 480-837-9661 x3 or by visiting fhtaz.org.

Box Office hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.

Those attending “Remembering Vegas” will hear the first official announcement of Fountain Hills Theater’s 2024-25 season of shows.

Fountain Hills Theater is a 501(c)(3) organization. All gifts are tax-deductible. The theater is 100% funded by ticket sales and donations. Volunteer opportunities are available.
