The Fountain Hills Presbyterian Church hosted a Seder Dinner and ceremony Tuesday, April 15.
The dinner was followed by a Seder Ceremony led by Rabbi Jack Zimmerman. Those in attendance were from the Fountain Hills Presbyterian Church and the Desert Creek Fellowship.
A freewill offering was collected for the benefit of the Reining Grace Ranch in Rio Verde.
Rabbi Zimmerman came to the faith in Jesus in 1988. According to a press release, Zimmerman is an ordained pastor, Messianic Rabbi and staff evangelist for Jewish Voice Ministries International.
Prior to his religious leadership, Zimmerman served as a radio newscaster and morning show co-host. He also served with WABC Television in New York as a stand-up comedian and live audience warm-up host.
As the founding Rabbi of the Tree of Life Messianic Congregation in Phoenix, Zimmerman uses his background in comedy to provide humor and theological depth in imparting the scriptures.
He has taught Bible classes throughout the United States as well as at theological universities in Russia and Ukraine.
Zimmerman lives in Phoenix with his wife, Sandie. They have three children and three grandchildren.
