Fountain Hills fights back for satisfying Homecoming win

Fountain Hills football will play the final scheduled home game of this season Friday, Oct. 10, against Phoenix Cortez full of momentum that started at the Falcons’ last game in friendly confines.

Before that, the 1-5 team makes an Oct. 3 road trip to ALA-Anthem South in Florence. This game will be the second of the Falcons' final four that presented an opportunity to win following a highly difficult five-game start.

“We just want to focus on continuing to have great reps and great days moving forward and we are excited to face the challenges ahead of us,” Fountain Hills Coach Peter Schermerhorn stated in an email.
