Seeking youth sponsors to Reigning Grace Ranch

The Fountain Hills Crisis Response Team is hosting a fundraising event for students to attend an eight-week session at Reigning Grace Ranch, the equine therapy ranch in Rio Verde.

The fundraiser is Friday, Jan. 26, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Fountain Hills Community Center, 13001 N. La Montana Drive.

During the event, owners of Reigning Grace Ranch Amanda and Chris Moore will offer a presentation on how equine therapy can help youth dealing with PTSD, ADHD, depression or anxiety.

The Crisis Response Team Coordinator Tom Aiello is working with Fountain Hills High School Psychologist Peter McGloin to organize the event.

The cost per child is $400 for an eight-week session and the payment goes directly to Reigning Grace Ranch. Those interested in sponsoring a child can call Aiello at 516-449-8949.

Those interested in sponsoring a student are asked to specify “Fountain Hills Students” with payment and can use a 501(C)(3) Arizona Tax Credit.
