The Town of Fountain Hills Community Services Department is announcing the installation of an eight-foot-tall Arizona State Donor Puzzle that will allow the public to be involved in construction of the puzzle through the purchase of stainless-steel donor puzzle pieces.
The pieces will then be added to a design structure of the state of Arizona. Each 6.5-inch x 8-inch puzzle piece can be purchased for $1,000 and have up to 30 characters to honor a loved one, advertise a business or highlight a club. Funding from these donations will help purchase an 80-foot-wide shade structure in the Centennial Pavilion that will be installed before June 30, 2024.
Contributions will help cover the cost of the shade structure and is also expected to invigorate the area between the Community Center and the library. Having shade over an area this size will allow it to become a meeting place for weddings, extension of premises for the Community Center, concert venue, lectures, book readings and other events.
