App to support Falcon athletics

Fountain Hills High School Athletics has partnered with Integrity Giving to raise money for local programs.

IG offers a smartphone app loaded with special discounts to use when eating out, shopping and using services in Fountain Hills.

The app includes deals from all over the Valley, as well, all for $39.95.

At present, more than 30 Fountain Hills businesses have signed up and will offer discounts on the app, such as Papa Murphy’s, Rosati’s, Burger King, Pizza Hut, Phil’s Filling Station, the UPS store, Ping’s Cafe, Desert Belle Tour Boat and others.

The goal of the program is to raise $100,000 to keep Fountain Hills High School athletics affordable. FHHS Athletics consists of 300 students and is completely self-funded. Promotions like this allow the program to continue as is.

The initial campaign for the app launches Feb. 2 and runs through March 2. Another campaign of this type may launched later in the year, if necessary.

IG calls the app a “win” for all parties involved.

-Win for the school: It is high-net fundraising (FHHS Athletics receives 50 percent of the initial donation of $39.95. The school receives 95 percent of any additional donation (beyond the $39.95) made by the supporter at signup and 95 percent of incremental donations made throughout the year, when supporters choose to “Share Their Savings” via the Integrity Giving app when redeeming a coupon).

-Win for supporters, who see potential savings of 20-30 times what they contribute, simply by taking advantage of the local and Valley-wide discounts at restaurants and service businesses throughout the year.

-Win for local businesses that appear on the app. These businesses receive wireless, GPS-driven, geo-fenced marketing, simply by offering deals through the app.

“Fountain Hills businesses have been incredibly supportive,” said IG’s Barbara James.

“Everyone we have asked has offered great discounts on this app. This helps create a valuable product our supporters will enjoy.”

Every week, more discounts in Fountain Hills and the greater Phoenix area are added to this electronics savings subscription.

To take part in the program, visit integritygiving.com/index.php/donation.html and donate $39.95 or more. Remember to select Fountain Hills Athletics as the organization of choice.

Of your first $39.95, half goes directly to FHHS Athletics. When you redeem a value savings at a local business, you are given the opportunity to share your savings with the fundraiser ($1, $2, $3) of which 95 goes to FHHS Athletics.

Business owners interested in getting involved are asked to visit integritygiving.com and click on the “Business Partners” page to sign up.
