Victoria Lynn Garcia, 55, of Fountain Hills passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, July 3, 2016.
Vicky was born in Troy, N.Y. Nov. 16, 1960 to the late Frederick Clinton and Mary Joan Sargent.
Vicky is survived by the father of her children, Jesse Garcia; her five loving children, Christen Prescott (Chris) of Fountain Hills, Jesse Sargent (Tia) of Gilbert, Lauren Peiro (Richard) of Fountain Hills, Jacob Garcia of Chandler, and step-daughter, Rachel Garcia (Michael) of Dallas, Texas.
Victoria is also survived by her grandchildren, Maya, Erin, Carmen, Miguel, Amber, Dallas, Bella, Ricky, Aaron, and Natalie; brothers, Richard Sargent of Maine, Steve Sargent (Moira) of California and sister, Jennifer Sargent of Georgia. Vicky leaves behind seven nieces, nine nephews, and her extended family of cousins, aunts, and uncles of Canada.
Vicky, a Glendale High graduate, later went on to get her Esthetics license. She had an outgoing and funny personality. Her smile could light up the darkest of rooms. She had a love for baking, and watching any movie she set her eyes on.
She spent her final months surrounded by her grandchildren cooking, making hilarious videos, cuddling on the couch and getting them all addicted to scary movies and McDonald’s yogurt parfaits.
A private memorial service is planned for Sept. Friday 9, 2016. Arrangements entrusted to Messinger Mortuary of Fountain Hills.
