Lucila Hamilton, 96, of Surprise and Fountain Hills, passed away on Feb. 13.
Lucila (MiMi) was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grand-mother and friend. She was a strong woman of faith and her kindness and sweetness always brought out the best in everyone around her.
She is survived by her daughters, Sandra McCauley, Linda Hofmann and son, Charles Hamilton; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and brother, Judge Louis M. Moore of Houston, Texas.
A graveside memorial service was held on Monday, Feb. 20 for family and friends. Burial followed at Paradise Memorial Gardens, 9300 E. Shea Blvd., Scottsdale.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix.
