Graham V. Lovell

Graham Vinson Lovell was born May 1, 1964 in Dallas, Texas. He moved to Los Angeles in 1973 and attended Rosewood Elementary, then John Burroughs Junior High School. Graham graduated from Fairfax High School in West Hollywood where he excelled in Music and Theater. He then attended the University of North Texas where he majored in Music.

After college, Graham returned to Los Angeles and helped form the band Mr. Ectomy with fellow North Texas musician, John Garwood. The band played regularly in popular shows in and around Southern California including the legendary House of Blues in Hollywood.

In 1997 Graham married the love of his life, Erin Elizabeth Stratton. The couple settled in Long Beach where the couple’s sons Joshua and Cameron were born.

In 2004 the family moved to Fountain Hills, AZ where Graham began a new career with Surety Placement Services eventually becoming the company’s Vice President. Graham was honest, kind and compassionate to all he met. Graham was an exceedingly talented singer/songwriter who played a variety of instruments including guitar, piano, organ and harmonica. Music remained a passion throughout his life and he always enjoyed performing whether in a crowded theater or a backyard family BBQ.

He is survived by a large adoring family including his wife, Erin Stratton Lovell, sons Joshua James and Cameron Alexander Lovell, his Father, Jan Arlen Lovell, his mother, Rosemary Lovell Alexander (Newell Alexander), Grandmother Vada Lovell

brother, Jeffrey Arlen Lovell (Sammi Maon Lovell), sisters, Phyllis Lynn Alexander and Kelley Jeanne Alexander, nephew, Jake Bohn, nieces, Amber Lovell, Carrie Shores and Rebecca Shores, brother in law, Del Shores and Aunt Dee Van Ackeren, In-laws Jim and Marilyn Stratton and sister in law, Lauren Stratton.

The memorial services are scheduled on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Messinger Mortuary located at 12065 North Saguaro Blvd. Fountain Hills, Arizona. Reception to follow at Boys & Girls Clubs McKee Branch located at 14605 N. Del Cambre Ave. Fountain Hills, AZ.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale.
