Ghazi had been a self-employed handy repairman (GST Repair Services) in Fountain Hills since 1996.
Ghazi had been in the hospital and in a care center on hospice for more than a year. He received an early Christmas gift by finally receiving an end to suffering and life on earth so that he may be free to join loved ones who have gone before him.
He is survived by his wife, Jan (Janet); two sons, Shawn (wife, Sarah) and Tyler; a brother, Walid (wife, Carolyn) of Sugarland, Texas; along with many other relatives that reside outside of the U.S. He is preceded in death by his mother and father who both passed away in 2004.
For those who knew Ghazi and wish to attend there is a memorial Tuesday, Dec. 29, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the back dining room of the DC Bar and Grill at the Desert Canyon Golf Club, 10440 N. Indian Wells Drive, Fountain Hills.
A chaplain from Hospice of the Valley will conduct the service followed by words from a few close friends.
