Beverly R. Smith, age 76, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, Oct. 20, 2014.
She was born on Jan. 23, 1938 in Dodgeville, Wis. to Herman and Leona (Grob) Binius. Beverly married Martin Smith on June 15, 1957 in Marshall, Wis. In 1973, Beverly and her family moved to Scottsdale.
She worked in the insurance industry for many years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Beverly is survived by her loving husband, Martin; daughter, Kathy (husband, David) Rocha of Gilbert; brother, David (wife, Shirley) Binius of Edina, Minn.; and grandson, David Martin Rocha. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Leona.
Funeral services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church at 13770 N. Fountain Hills Blvd., Fountain Hills, at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 2, with Pastor Thomas Daly presiding.
Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the church. Donations may be made in Beverly’s honor to Trinity Lutheran Church.
