Aileen Terrusa, 86, passed away on Dec. 2, 2015.

Aileen was born on Dec. 18, 1928 at Brooklyn Hebrew Memorial Hospital, Brooklyn, N.Y., to parents Jacob and Sadie Coopersmith.

A 22-year plus Fountain Hills resident, Aileen most enjoyed living in her peaceful and loving environment and all that Fountain Hills represents. She enjoyed traveling in her younger years.

She is survived by her two daughters, Lea Heinrich (Steve) of Las Vegas, Nev. and their three sons, Greg (Stephanie), Bryan and Chris; and Donna Biczo (John) of Fountain Hills, and their three sons, Keith (Veronica), Phil (Brianne) and Russ.

Aileen was also a great-grandmother to Michael, Lucas, Maximilian and Emmett. She is also survived by her brother, Al Coopersmith (Betty), two nieces and two nephews.

We honor Aileen; a devoted mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt, for her love, courage, strength, determination and friendship. Most of all, we share in her Resurrection into her new eternal life as she ascends from the restraints of her limitations on earth to a heavenly home where she is now “free” to move about God’s Kingdom.

Aileen’s celebration of life memorial mass will be held at Church of the Ascension, 12615 Fountain Hills Boulevard, on Thursday, Dec. 10, at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be sent to the Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014.
