The Fountain Hills Unified School District PTO will host a back to school social Tuesday evening, Aug. 20, from 6 to 7 p.m.

This free event will replace the usual back to school breakfast with parents invited to come out, have a snack, meet new parents or catch up with old friends.

Guest speakers at the social will be McDowell Mountain Elementary School Principal Joanne Meehan, Four Peaks/Middle School Principal Anita Gomez, Superintendent Tom Lawrence and Mayor Linda Kavanagh.

For those looking to get involved with the schools this year, sign up sheets for various volunteer projects will also be available at the social event.

Everyone is invited to attend this event that will be hosted out of the McDowell Mountain Multipurpose Room. Free childcare will be available, including a movie and snack.
