Suspicious brush fire in Ashbrook Wash

Fountain Hills Fire Dept units were on the scene of a brush fire in Ashbrook Wash Monday, May 25.

Fire Chief Randy Roberts said the fire started in three different locations and is considered suspicious. The total burn area was about a half-acre.

Maricopa County Sheriff's Office is investigating the cause. There were reports of fireworks heard earlier in the neighborhood.
