Construction closures delayed a day

Nesbitt Contracting will be closing a portion of two major intersections this week as part of the Saguaro Boulevard reconstruction project.
Originally scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, workers will now close Palisades Blvd. on the west side of Saguaro Wednesday and Thursday, June 3-4.
El Lago Boulevard will be closed on the west side of Saguaro in a similar manner on Friday, June 5, and again on Monday, June 8.
The closures will be in place from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. all four days while crews mill out the existing asphalt and prepare the base for the installation of new pavement later this month.
During the closure north and south bound traffic on Saguaro will be maintained on the east side of Saguaro.
Westbound traffic may use La Montana, Avenue of the Fountains or Gunsight drives as alternate routes.
