Asphalt crews with Nesbitt Contracting have begun working day and night to install new paving on Shea Boulevard between the east town boundary at the Beeline Highway and Technology Drive.
The work will continue through Tuesday, April 14. Traffic will be restricted to a single lane in each direction. Motorists are advised to allow extra time for delays or seek an alternate route.
The old asphalt is being completely removed to the base and the base prepared before the paving work begins.
The top finish coat of rubberized asphalt will be installed later this month.
