Time is running out to purchase advance tickets to the River of Time Museum’s annual Italian Dinner fundraiser.

The event is set for Saturday, Aug. 12. Advance tickets are $20; tickets at the door are $25. Groups of eight are welcome to reserve tables at no additional cost by calling the museum, 480-837-2612.

Tickets may be purchased at the museum, Brooklyn Bedding, Euro Pizza, Fountain Fashions, Sami Fine Jewelry and The Fountain Hills Times.

This year, each participant has a chance to win $100 by signing the back of their ticket and entering it in the drawing.

Two large donations have been pledged: a mattress from Brooklyn Bedding and a helicopter ride to the Four Peaks Mine from Sami Fine Jewelry.

Businesses are invited to join corporate sponsors Cox Communications, Carl and Eunice Feinberg, Brooklyn Bedding and the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation for a contribution of $500.

The Museum has received donations from AZ Trails Travel, Avon by Angela McGhee, Big O Tires, Cheryl’s, Cold Beer & Cheeseburgers, Crystal Blues, Desert Belle Cruises, DJ’s, Dolly Steamboat, Firerock Country Club, Fontana Hair Inc., Fountain Hills Barbershop, Fountain Hills Theater, Go Divas Salon, Greulich’s, Kelley’s Automotive Repair, Liberty Tire & Auto Center, McDowell Mountain Golf, Mucha Lucha, Papa Murphy’s, Petco, Pisa Pizza, Que Bueno, Rio Verde Golf Club, Russo’s, Señor Taco, Skin Apeel, Sonoran Lifestyle Real Estate, Stone Creek Golf Club, SunRidge Canyon Golf Club, That Guy’s Pizza, Tonto Verde Golf Club, UPS at Safeway Center, We Ko Pa Golf and Resort, Wines for Humanity, You Need Nails, and several museums including the Arizona Science Center.

Other auction items have been donated by FC Physical Medicine, Alan Magazine Fine Photography, Bonnie Schweihs Pet Portraits, Chocofin Chocolatier, DJ’s, Desert Dawg Auto Repair, EPCOR, Euro Pizza, Fantastic Sams, Fountain Fashions, Hills Nails, Caesar’s Pizza, Paul’s Ace Hardware, Pine Top Country Club, Saddle Bronc, Sapori D’Italia, Senator John Kavanagh, SeniorLife Insurance Solutions, Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, Spooner Physical Therapy, Torreon Country Club-Show Low, Yates Jewelry and the Arizona Museum of Natural History.

Unique to Fountain Hills, The River of Time Museum has been exhibiting the culture and heritage of Fountain Hills, the Verdes and the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation since 2003. Contributing as a sponsor, donating an item and attending the Italian Dinner, will all help this vibrant organization continue to grow and expand to provide increased programming, historic events and expanded exhibits.

Plan to attend this annual community event, enjoying a new expanded menu from Phil’s Filling Station, featuring several pasta choices, salads and bread and participating in exciting live and silent auctions hosted by auctioneer State Sen. John Kavanagh.

Since the River of Time Museum is a nonprofit organization, donations may be tax deductible. Donors are encouraged to speak with their tax advisors regarding eligibility.
