The town's McDowell Mountain Preservation Committee meets Tuesday, Aug. 25, at Town Hall. The meeting starts at 5:30 p.m.
Commissioners will hear updates on the Sonoran Conservancy, the Sonoran Loop South Trail and the preserve marketing group regarding preserve trail maps and trifolds.
The board also will discuss an update to its 2015 objectives and possibly designate someone to sit on the Community Services Advisory Commission.
Members plan to discuss a McDowell Mountain Month event slated for Nov. 21 and try to come up with a date for a joint meeting with the Town Council.
The commission meeting will be in council chambers at Town Hall.
