Loop 101 restrictions in Scottsdale

The Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) improvement project continues in the East Valley this weekend. The northbound freeway will be closed between Chaparral Road and Shea Boulevard. Southbound Loop 101 also will be narrowed to two lanes between Indian Bend and Indian School roads.
This weekend drivers can expect the following restrictions in the Scottsdale and Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community areas:
*Loop 101 northbound CLOSED between Chaparral Road and Shea Boulevard from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday (Sept. 22). DETOUR: Drivers can exit Indian School Road and head west to Hayden Road and travel north to Cactus Road to reconnect to Loop 101.
*Loop 101 southbound narrowed to two lanes near Indian Bend and Indian School roads from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday (Sept. 22).
