Freeway-improvement work continues on Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) in the East Valley. Drivers can expect the following overnight ramp restrictions beginning at midnight Sunday night until early Monday morning (Aug. 2-3):
Southbound Loop 101 on- and off-ramps at Shea Boulevard closed from midnight to 5 a.m. Monday (Aug. 3). DETOUR: Southbound Loop 101 traffic can exit at Cactus Road. Drivers on Shea Boulevard will be directed to southbound 90th Street to enter southbound Loop 101 via the 90th Street on-ramp.
East- and southbound Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) narrowed to one lane in areas between Tatum and Shea boulevards from 10 p.m. Friday to 8 a.m. Saturday (Aug. 1) for pavement-marker installation. North- and westbound Loop 101 also narrowed to one lane in areas between Shea and Tatum boulevards from 10 p.m. Saturday to 9 a.m. Sunday (Aug. 2).
