Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Fountain Hills woman, age 36, on Monday, Nov. 9, after she had an argument with her boyfriend.

The woman appeared intoxicated and had told her boyfriend she was going to kill herself by overdosing on heroin. She also allegedly broke a window at the residence in the 15000 block of Tumbleweed Drive.

Deputies discovered an outstanding warrant for the woman’s arrest and took her into custody. She was resistant to being placed in handcuffs and being put into the patrol car. She made a number of incoherent statements to the boyfriend and to deputies.

*On Sunday, Nov. 8, deputies responded to a residence in the 14000 block of Lone Mountain Road in unincorporated Maricopa County after a man complained his neighbor threatened him with a gun. The victim did not see a weapon or even the neighbor, but said he recognized the voice that said they had a gun. Deputies have responded to previous incidents between the neighbors and the victim is seeking a court order of protection for him and his family.

*On Tuesday, Nov. 10, deputies received a report of a hit and run accident in the parking lot at the Tonto Verde golf club at Tonto Verde and Circulo drives. A man reported his vehicle was struck by a second vehicle that had left the scene.

*On Wednesday, Nov. 11, a Fountain Hills woman complained about a disorderly guest at her residence in the 16000 block of Tumbleweed Drive. The guest was being allowed to stay at the home to help assist as a caregiver. Deputies trespassed the woman from the property who said she was returning to her home in Camp Verde. There was no arrest or charges.

*On Tuesday, Nov. 10, deputies responded to a vehicle accident in the CVS parking lot on Palisades Boulevard. A woman, believed to be under the influence of alcohol, drove her car over the curb injuring herself and damaging the vehicle.

*On Sunday, Nov. 15, a resident of the 15000 block of Mustang Drive reported someone had thrown eggs at her home. She provided deputies with suspect information.

*On Friday, Nov. 6, a Rio Verde man reported someone had stolen two firearms from his vehicle while it was in a parking lot near Avenida Del Ray and Forest Road in Rio Verde. The weapons include a 1950s vintage 16-gage shotgun and a 9mm handgun. Ammunition and a case were also stolen making the total value of the property $1,042.

*On Wednesday, Nov. 11, deputies were called to investigate a two-vehicle collision at Palisades and Fountain Hills boulevards. A woman told deputies she pulled into the intersection but stopped when she realized the left arrow was green, but the through light was red. While stopped in the intersection she was struck by a vehicle making a left turn from southbound Fountain Hills to eastbound Palisades. That vehicle continued without stopping.

*On Wednesday, Nov. 11, deputies stopped an Illinois man, age 40, for excessive speed traveling on McDowell Mountain Road. He was reported traveling 67 where the speed limit is 45. In the course of the traffic stop deputies discovered the man was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was cited and released.

*On Thursday, Nov. 12, deputies responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle at Monterey and Sunrise drives. A vehicle was found parked partially onto the sidewalk with damage. No driver was located, however, the license plate tag found on the vehicle was registered to a different vehicle. The report was forwarded to MCSO auto theft detectives.

*On Friday, Nov. 13, a Fountain Hills man reported someone had broken a window at his apartment in the 13000 block of Saguaro Boulevard. The man said he had not been in town since Aug. 30. Damage is $400.

*On Friday, Nov. 13, a Fountain Hills woman arrived at a Mesa hospital and reported she had been assaulted and struck in the face outside her home in the 13000 block of Hamilton Drive in Fountain Hills. She was able to provide minimal information regarding a suspect.

*On Saturday, Nov. 14, a Fountain Hills woman reported her husband’s identification had been used to open fraudulent credit card accounts.
