Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Fountain Hills woman for assaulting an ex-boyfriend at his home in the 16000 block of Sky-ridge Lane on Thursday, Oct. 5.

Deputies said the resident has an order of protection against the woman and when she arrived at the home he told her to leave.

When she refused they got into an argument that allegedly escalated to her striking the man several time leaving visible marks.

Deputies arrested the woman on charges of domestic violence assault, failure to comply with a court order and disorderly conduct/fighting.

*On Friday, Sept. 29, deputies responded to a report of a fight at a residence in the 15000 block of Cavern Drive. A Fountain Hills woman and a house guest got into a verbal argument, but there was no physical contact, according to deputies. They determined that no crime had been committed.

*On Monday, Oct. 2, a resident of the 14000 block of Silverado Drive reported that someone had shot an arrow into the side of his house. He showed deputies the arrow, which was about four feet off the ground. The arrow was taken as evidence.

*On Monday, Oct. 2, a Fountain Hills man reported his credit card had been stolen and it was used fraudulently at Fort McDowell Casino.

*On Wednesday, Oct. 4, a Fountain Hills woman reported that someone had used her Social Security information to open accounts and charge to her credit card.

*On Thursday, Oct. 5, a resident of the area of Thistle and Chicory drives reported someone had taken mail from their mailbox.

*On Thursday, Oct. 5, deputies received a report of a male subject possibly removing mail from mailboxes in the area and Hampstead and Hyde Park drives.

*On Thursday, Oct. 5, deputies responded to a report of a burglary at a residence in the 17000 block of El Pueblo Boulevard. Suspects apparently entered through a sliding door and removed property valued at $2,400. The victim reported electronic equipment stolen.

*On Sunday, Oct. 8, deputies stopped a Phoenix man for an equipment violation [headlight] and cited him for driving with a suspended license, improper license plate lighting and no insurance.

*On Sunday, Oct. 8, deputies responded to a reported disturbance at a Fountain Hills drug store. The suspect had gone into the store and was allegedly harassing his ex-girlfriend who worked there. When the store manager attempted to intervene the suspect threw a couple of punches but did not hit him. The suspect fled before deputies arrived.

*On Sunday, Oct. 8, deputies made a stop for speeding violation near Fountain Hills and Shea boulevards and arrested a man on an outstanding warrant.

*On Monday, Oct. 9, a woman reported damage to her property by a tenant at a residence in the 13000 block of Hamilton Drive.

*On Wednesday, Oct. 11, deputies responded to a report of a suspicious person near Fountain Hills and El Lago boulevards and arrested a Fountain Hills man on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.

*On Monday, Oct. 2, a resident of the 14000 block of Deerskin Drive reported someone removed mail from her mailbox.

*On Tuesday, Oct. 10, deputies received a report of a vehicle traveling on a wheel rim and throwing off sparks along Shea Boulevard. Deputies located the vehicle traveling south on SR 87 and turning west onto Shea. The vehicle was stopped and the driver was booked for DUI.
