A popular conservative radio talk show host will be the keynote speaker at the Fountain Hills Republican Club’s traditional “potluck” breakfast Christmas meeting

KFYI morning drive host Mike Broomhead will headline the event Saturday, Dec. 16. The meeting starts at 9 a.m. at the Community Center. Guests are welcome.

To aid in the planning, participants are asked to email 3rd Vice President and Events Chair Shari Morris at cgsm73@gmail.com to indicate what they will contribute to the potluck.

Broomhead, who became the KFYI morning drive host in 2005, addresses issues facing Arizona citizens each day. He is known for his common sense opinions based on his business and life experiences.

The death of his brother during the Iraq War led to his being invited to delivering addresses at veterans’ events.

Contributions for the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots will be accepted. Toys will be available for purchase from the Fountain Hills Wood Workers. There will be other surprises and prizes.
