A year into their big merge last summer with neighbor shop Distinctive Accessories, the combined businesses are now one, and offer Fountain Hills everything under one roof.

With specialty boutiques emerging all over the Valley, Cheryl’s Distinctive Accessories really wanted to stick out in the crowd. Tom and Cheryl Kautz have owned Cheryl’s Interiors for over 10 years, and their passion for their store’s merchandise has grown tremendously. They have imagined having the store set up the way it is now for years, and now they have been given the opportunity to do that.

Owner Cheryl Kautz has been an interior designer for more than 25 years, and originally opened Cheryl’s Interiors because of her interior decorating for apartments, model homes, and vacations homes. They thought the store would be a good source to get her merchandise for the homes, and has definitely played a part in the evolution of the store.

Cheryl and Tom Kautz have five grandchildren and have tried and tested their children’s items on every one of them. Because of the need for baby items in Fountain Hills, the store has recently added a newly expanded children’s section with everything from newborn to size 2, blankets, children’s toys and stuffed animals, nursery décor, and much more!

If you are looking for decorative plants for the fall, Cheryl’s also has a massive plant showroom with more than 600 artificial plants in one room making it much easier to find what you are looking for. In-house floral designer Faye McNeely has more than 30 years’ experience, and offers custom designs available to be created to match any part of your home.

Need to pick up something for an upcoming party or event for one of your friends? Cheryl’s has what they call a “Girlfriend Section.” They offer gift items that range from hand-painted martini, margarita, and wine glasses, napkins with sayings, greeting cards, as well as a variety of women’s accessories. They also are one of the few stores in the Valley that carries the ever so sought for “Butler Bag.” The Butler Bag is the first and only compartmentalized purse that allows women to organize their purse according to each section.
